How many exercises should I due per muscle during my workout?



I do about 10 to 12 reps per set and about 2 to 3 sets per exercise. So, my question is how many different exercises should I do for each muscle. For example, should I do a 2 to 3 sets of bench presses then do 2 to 3 sets of push ups? Or is just doing just one exercise per muscle group enough?

    You should do 12 sets for most muscle groups using 3-4 different exercises. You should do a warm up set first that does not count towards your 12.
